PAUSE (before I even begin).
This makes me think of “Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy,” of the Saturday Night Live variety. Ha!
If you watched SNL in the 90’s, you’ll know what I’m talking about. As simple and silly as this segment/skit was … I always looked forward to it! (yes, it says something about my sense of humor!)
So, allow me to begin my ‘Random Thoughts’ musing with a couple Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy:
- The face of a child can say it all, especially the mouth part of the face.
- The first thing was, I learned to forgive myself. Then, I told myself, “Go ahead and do whatever you want, it’s okay by me.”
Hope so! (There were too many great ones to choose from, and I must admit I sugar-coated. Google or Bing or ? it. Enjoy!)
A pretty nice segway into some of the random thoughts I’ve been marinating with these days. (all born of lovely life circumstance, coincidences, little blurbs or articles I’ve recently read, etc. LIFE!)
Here Goes: Random Thoughts as Inspired by Life
Ye of Strong Mind, Let it Be in Service of Your Heart.
An oh-so-worthy daily practice: Ask Questions. Drop into Your Body. Live and FEEL your way into your answers.
Do the above again and again.
Action from the place of feeling “all is right” will be infinitely more “right” than action from the place of desperation or fear.
When you “screw up,” what a kick-ass opportunity to come at it again! Forgive. And do over. (kind of like the second Jack Handy quote from above, right? well … kind of. wink)
All the time, hurry and worry! Slow down. Seek ‘the good.’ Lighten the fuck up! (said with insanely large amounts of non-judgment and playfulness)
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men (ok … this one is by Roald Dahl /Willy Wonka.)
We are the music makers. And we are the dreamers of dreams. (Roald Dahl/Willy Wonka again. smiles!)
Each of us is hard-wired for greatness! How are YOU great?
As you make your way through the moments of your days, be mindful to bring along healthy doses of AMUSEMENT, your Spirit of Adventure and Experimentation, and LOVE.
Whacha got? Give me some of your recent “Random Thoughts.”
